The warm lemony sun was nothing compared to the rather violent wind. Wayne stood over the ledge looking into the pearly blue tinted water below him. His hair was a ruffled mess, his mind was too. A small shivering Chloe stood beside him clasping her arms together in an attempt to keep warm. Her ponytail blew to the side, the flower in her hair bent at the edges. She looked up at Wayne being a slight bit shorter then him. "So what DID happen anyway?" Chloe voice shivered along with her body. It took a minute for Wayne to realize someone was talking to him, he looked down at her. "What do you mean?" he asked, pondering her question. He didn't really understand. Chloe frowned "You know, with you, Ice. You know. What happened? You didn't really tell me last time." Chloe was inwardly very happy that they were broken up. Somewhere deep inside her needed to make sure that both Wayne and, yes, even her worst enemy Ice, were ok with this whole thing. Wayne frowned "I don't know exactly." Chloe sighed "You always say that Wayne. You ALWAYS say that and I want to know for real." At this statement, Wayne was taken aback. He blinked, and stared at Chloe "I guess, it was just something we both decided" he tried toexplain wearily "I think we just needed this." Chloe looked down, she didn't mean to sound so angry "Are you going to be ok?"she asked, staring at the ground. Wayne paused for awhile. He thought of himself but he mostly thought of his friends. He could remember just the other day, when he was talking to Zoey. She seemed so calm about everything, like she knew Tor just decided he needed to move on. But Wayne could see the dissapointment in her eyes. Then he remembered her talking to Stitches, at first he thought thier relationship was off to a horrible start. "Why don't you cheer up, you poor sap" Zoey eyed Stitches grumpily. Sticthes' reply was just as cold "You don't have to bug me just because you got dumped, your probably just some rebound girl." Zoey glared at him "I don't need a man! And why would I want to date YOU anyway?!" "Oh your one to talk! I can see your bra through that shirt!" Stitches retaliated. "Your face is ugly!" Zoey yelled. "Your boobs are ugly!" Stitches teased. "Oh, so your gay then?" Zoey smiled. Sticthes shook his head at his stupid out-burst, and started to chuckle "I mean, I m--" he started to laugh. Zoey also erupted in laughter. Wayne smiled remembering this scene in his head. Then he though of Tor. Tor seemed so depressed. Tor was the one who ended the relationship, so Wayne didn't really understand. But he guessed that Tor had a reason, he was always just like that. He knew Tor. Wayne thought of how Tor was hanging around Terisa lately, Tor would be fine. He smiled wider. Then, Wayne thought of Ice. This made his smile dissapear. He hadn't talked to Ice in forever. He didn't really know about Ice, but he knew she would find refuge in her friends. Her friends seemed to only consist of Mid now, and not Zoey. He didn't know why, but he still trusted Mid like if she was his own sister. He smiled once again, and spoke finally, "I think we'll be ok." Chloe blinked, after waiting for several minutes. She smiled "That's good." Wayne put his arm around Chloe "You look cold" he frowned. Chloe put her arm around Wayne "Naw, I'm ok" she blushed abit "Let's go back to my house, we can have some hot chocolate." "That sounds great" he began to walk with her, not noticing he was turning the slightest red as well. He paused "We'll all be ok..." he sighed inwardly, turning to Chloe, brushing off the past.
Is this the end? Or just a new beggining? For all these people, who knows what could lie ahead.
